A digital inking exercise. Trying to get use to the Intuos tablet, since I got so spoiled on the cintiques before graduating. Based off a shaolin warrior sketch I did a while back. The background stuff was really just to make it actually enjoyable to look at. I'm sick of white backgrounds. The texture is basic but adds a slight character. And the faded chinese character I tried to get to match like a cast shadow for the figure, but don't know if that comes across. The characters faded and up top mean peace, at least that's what the all mighty info net tells me. And if the info net is wrong .... well it's happened before.
